Console rumour time #235

Sometimes reliable leaker, KeplerL2, has taken to a Neogaf forum thread to note their predictions/expectations/made-up numbers for the performance of the next-gen consoles: PS6: 40 teraflops | Xbox Project Helix: 56 teraflops. That's RX 9070+ kinda performance, and a theoretical 40% performance delta for the Microsoft console over the Sony slab of silicon.

But teraflops are never a perfect measure of relative performance between different products, even if both will have essentially the same AMD architecture under the hood. The next-gen console bunfight is still expected to kick off later next year, so even as a PC Gamer do the new consoles hold any attraction for you?
