HoYoverse has today delivered full details on the next major update for Honkai: Star Rail. Version 4.3, dubbed The Lethe Below the Living, will be available for all players on June 1. The upcoming update adds a new chapter to the Planarcadia arc, and introduce a new playable character.

The new narrative chapter will also unveil more about Mortenax Blade, the Trailblazer themselves, and the husk of the Aeon.

Mortenax Blade is the hero of this chapter, and he’s going to step into the World in Canvas. The goal is to - by borrowing the power of Voracity - excise Shuhu from his body and end the curse.

The Trailblazer goes on a trip of their own in Version 4.3, this time to Inkford Hermitage, right on the edge between the World in Canvas and the real world. They’re going to undertake this journey to warn Graphia of the Asat Pramad threat.

In case you hadn’t already guessed, Mortenax Blade is this version’s new playable character. The 5-Star Fire-Type swordsman is on the Path of Nihility. Blade’s Ultimate allows him to enter an enhanced state by deploying a special Bounded Field.

While the field is active, all enemies receive more DMG. Entering this state is also how Blade unlocks his skill, which uses a Sword Formation to deal more damage. This is then used to essentially unlock a second, more powerful Ultimate for him.

The benefits of Mortenax Blade’s kit extend to his teammates, too. Any ally who attacks an enemy with him on the team, they inflict a debuff on them. This also builds up a special Charge that Blade can later use with his Skill.

Version 4.3’s launch arrives alongside the Gift of Tempered Blade event. Through it, you can claim a new Trailblazer Outfit piece for free, but only after getting Mortenax Blade from Warping. The first phase’s rerun will be Yao Guang, and the second phase will bring back both Cyrene and Phainon.

You can also expect the Wispae Amusement Park to arrive within the World in Canvas, which you’ll get to design. You can plan where the rides will go, pick the different themes, set visitor routes and more.

Starward Mode is another new addition, which can be found in Memory of Chaos, Pure Fiction, and Apocalyptic Shadow. Starward will see you take on three different stages, which you’ll need three teams for. Clearing each challenge with full stars will reward you 100 Stellar Jades extra per chase.

There’s more coming down the line, too. A new Fate/Stay Night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration will arrive in a content up this summer. The event will give players a chance to earn Gilgamesh or Archer for free by logging in.

PlayStation Shares New Details For Mobile Hero Shooter, Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble

!Game Informer News(https://www.gameinformer.com/sites/default/files/styles/bodydefault/public/2026/07/15/ecad9fb6/ratchet-and-clank-ranger-rumble-gameplay.jpg.webp) Last November, PlayStation unveiled Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble, a new mobile hero shooter take on Insomniac Games’ flagship franchise. After soft-launching in various non-US regions over the last few months, a new blog post(https://blog.playstation.com/2026/07/15/ratchet-clank-ranger-rumble-gameplay-details-on-the-upcoming-mobile-hero-shooter/) reveals more details about the game ahead of its yet-to-be-revealed global launch. Developed by Oh Bibi in collaboration with Insomniac, Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble is a free-to-play multiplayer hero shooter coming to iOS and Android. The game takes place inside a combat simulation created by Captain Qwark to train new Galactic Ranger recruits. Players control a roster of 12 heroes (with more to come post-launch) that, while featuring Ratchet and Clank and other recognizable faces, largely consist of new characters. This includes robots, aliens, and even Lombaxes from other dimensions like Widget, a spunky investigative journalist, and Mopz, a mopey street gang member. Ranger Rumble's bread and butter are its PvP arena battles (featuring "dynamic PvE elements") where players team up to blast competitors apart using the series' signature wacky weaponry.  The blog post reveals the game will have six game modes at launch that promote PvP and PvE play. Modes include a take on battle royale and a soccer-inspired contest. “Staying true to the series has been at the heart of the project from day one,” writes Oh Bibi chief executive officer Stanislas Dewavrin in the blog post. “The signature humor, beloved characters, and gloriously inventive weaponry that have defined Ratchet & Clank for over two decades are all here, reimagined for fast-paced battles built specifically for mobile, with new characters and weapons to discover. There’s no release window for Ratchet & Clank: Ranger Rumble’s global launch, but players can pre-register to play on its website(https://www.rangerrumble.com/) now to receive exclusive rewards.
