VRR adjusts a display’s refresh rate to match a game’s frame rate, smoothing out gameplay and reducing screen tearing. It will be particularly useful for games on the Switch 2 that have an unstable frame rate, and it’s a feature that the PS5 and Xbox Series S / X all support.

The latest Switch 2 firmware also includes a new toggle for handheld boost mode in quick settings, as well as an update to the Mii editor that lets you enable music for some nostalgic Wii, 3DS, or Wii U Mii creation. Nintendo has also added the ability to perform a full system transfer from one Switch 2 console to another, just in time for a Zelda-themed Switch 2 next month.

Like the OG translucent Xbox, the weapon blueprint allows players to see through it. If you preorder MW4 on any other platform, you'll get the same gun, but without the Xbox flourishes. Not only that, but if you're playing on PlayStation or Switch 2, you won't even see the translucent Xbox design. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II Royal Edition Is Coming To Nintendo Switch 2 Next Year

It will feature all base content, premium story expansions, exclusive gear, and a bonus questline. There's no word on exactly when this massive RPG will hit the Switch 2, however – just that it's coming sometime in 2027. Kingdom Come: Deliverance II launched on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC in February of last year, and became one of Game Informer's favorite games of 2025(https://gameinformer.com/best-of-2025/2025/12/16/the-top-ten-games-of-2025).
