Trainstation 3 celebrates its first anniversary with the Rail Yard 2.0 update

To celebrate its first anniversary and more than one million downloads, Trainstation 3 from Pixel Federation is introducing Rail Yard 2.0, a major update focused on visual improvements, expanded customisation, and more immersive railway management. Built on over fifteen years of experience and a longstanding dedication to railway heritage, as seen in Pixel Federation’s Save the Rails initiative, Trainstation 3 combines management, strategy, and simulation gameplay as players grow their railway empire across multiple historical eras. From steam locomotives to high-speed rail, progression is driven by transporting cargo and developing increasingly detailed cities. ... Crystal Saga Nova is a new anime-style MMORPG set to make its way to mobile🖥 PC, Mobile

Crystal Saga Nova is a new anime-style MMORPG set to make its way to mobile

While we've had the occasional misstep in the past, nowadays a lot of developers are being more open to when their games will come to mobile. Case in point being the interesting-looking new MMORPG Crystal Saga Nova that's set to make its way to mobile post-PC release. In terms of gameplay and graphics, there's nothing that Crystal Saga Nova does that stands out, but nothing egregiously bad either. This is your straightforward isometric MMORPG with a variety of classes from which to pick and play. There is the lingering spectre of some speciously AI-generated assets, but it's unclear enough to give the benefit of the doubt. ... Monument Valley 3 is free this week on Epic Games Store Mobile🖥 PC, Mobile

Monument Valley 3 is free this week on Epic Games Store Mobile

Monument Valley 3 is free on the Epic Games Store this week, which is worth mentioning because if you're into mobile puzzle games at all, you've probably already played it. The series shows up on every “best puzzlers” list going, so most people who care will have tried at least one by now. But if you haven't, now's a decent time. The Monument Valley series has had a bit of an odd run recently. All three games ended up on Netflix Games as exclusives for a while, which meant pulling them from the App Store and Google Play, where they'd been sitting for years.  ... Road to Empress II is an interactive live-action court drama coming soon to iOS and Android🖥 PC, Mobile

Road to Empress II is an interactive live-action court drama coming soon to iOS and Android

Interactive movies had a decent run a few years back, then most of them just vanished. Netflix binned all theirs last year, and now it's mostly a niche thing you find on Steam or mobile if you go looking. Road to Empress II arriving in June feels a bit out of step with that, but here we are. The first one did well enough, sold over a million copies, so New One Studio clearly found an audience for it. This sequel picks up the story but shifts the setup. You're not climbing your way into the palace this time.  ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/ruin-road-to-empress-ii/announcement/)

Fortnite makes grand return to iOS App Store and promises showdown with Apple🖥 PC, Mobile

Fortnite makes grand return to iOS App Store and promises showdown with Apple

After finally making a return to Google Play earlier this year, the Fortnite saga that kicked off all the way back in 2020 seems to be coming to a close. Now, according to Epic themselves, Fortnite is once more available on the iOS App Store worldwide, except for in Australia. But things still haven't come to a complete end. Epic Games is already predicting that Apple's 'junk fees' will be the next victim of a judgment from the U.S. Supreme Court, and that this will set a global precedent that could see Apple's rates slashed by legislators. As you might expect, Epic are quick to couch this in very grandiose terms as the 'final battle.' ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/fortnite/back-on-the-app-store-may-2026/)

Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure is free to claim on the Epic Games Store for mobile

As we head towards the end of the week (well, we're already there), I get the chance to cover something we haven't had the chance to look at for a while. And that's this week's freebie on the Epic Games Store for mobile! This time around, it's none other than Arranger: A Role-Puzzling Adventure that's taking the spot. If you aren't already familiar, Arranger is precisely what it says on the tin. You play as Jemma, a young woman with the bizarre ability to shift the world around her. Essentially, when you move, the world moves with you in the column or row that you're standing on. ... Songs of Conquest announces launch for its Yulan DLC but no news yet for mobile

Lavapotion's homage to the Heroes of Might and Magic franchise, Songs of Conquest, has unveiled the release date for its new DLC. The Yulan faction, the latest to join the conflict, hails from the isolated region of Aerbor. PC players can expect to get their hands on it come June 4th, but, unfortunately, there's no news yet for mobile. Songs of Conquest is a personal favourite of mine (though mainly on PC), and allows players to take control of various distinct factions led by Wielders. These magic-using heroes allow you to enhance your already formidable tide of human warriors, undead legions, ruthless mercenaries, bizarre animals and beyond. ... Gambonanza, the chess-based roguelike, has launched for iOS and Android🖥 PC, Mobile

Gambonanza, the chess-based roguelike, has launched for iOS and Android

An indie I've been looking forward to since its initial announcement is Blukulélé’s Gambonanza. I used to play chess a lot in my youth, a hobby that was reignited, like many people's, I would assume, by The Queen's Gambit. Sadly, I am dreadful, often losing because of absolutely horrendous blunders. So, anything chess-related, I find myself drawn to. It has enough familiarity to please my love of the game, but I might not embarrass myself as much. Hopefully.  Thankfully, I don't need to wait any longer to find out as Gambonanza is now available for iOS and Android. Oh, and it's on Steam, too. But we don't care about that here, do we? It's also a premium offering, meaning you won't have to worry about any IAP gubbins that might otherwise pull you out of the experience. ... Streets of Rage 4 is free for a limited time on the Epic Games Store

There's a flurry of news coming in hot today, and one of the most exciting ones for me is the fact that Streets of Rage 4 is the freebie of the week on the Epic Games Store! I can't even begin to describe how awesome this beat 'em up is, so I'll just let my review do all the talking.  Essentially, Streets of Rage 4 brings back all the cool things that made the OG side-scroller successful, along with lovely hand-drawn visuals and modernised mechanics. All you really have to do is punch your way through the titular streets of rage to fight crime because you're cool like that, but the satisfaction of doing so is just superb. ... In Next Life turns survival crafting into a generational multiplayer loop on iOS and Android

If you've ever played one of those survival crafting games and thought “this would be better if I could be born as my own grandchild,” then In Next Life might just be for you. It's out now as a free-to-play experience on Steam, iOS, and Android, and it's one of the more genuinely interesting takes on the multiplayer survival genre I've come across in a while. The concept is simple but clever. You start in the stone age, born as a baby who needs adult players to survive the first few minutes. You grow up, contribute to your tribe, craft tools, discover fire, advance your civilisation, and eventually die.  ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/in-next-life/official-launch/)
