🖥 PC, MobilePalworld Online is an MMORPG take on Pocketpair's popular survival game that's coming to mobile this year
Palworld is something of a hot topic right now with version 1.0 going live on PC last month. Our sibling site, PG.Biz, recently did a fantastic piece on its viral rise to fame, so do check it out. And it's set to have a mobile presence as well, with the recently announced Palworld Online, which will be published by Garena. Palworld Online is officially licensed by Pocketpair and aims to reimagine the PC version's scale for mobile. However, rather than being a mere port, it should take on a life of its own, complete with an entirely new story and sidequests created specifically for this MMORPG. The world sounds pretty vast, too, with several regions to unlock as you capture and raise more of the titular Pals. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/palworld-online/announced-ios-android/)
🖥 PC, MobileMutazione is free on the Epic Games Store mobile this week, letting you grow musical gardens and uncover family secrets
A meteor levelling a tropical holiday resort would be the entire plot of most things. In Mutazione it is backstory, and distant backstory at that. The survivors stayed put, and a century on, their descendants are mostly busy gossiping about each other. Better story, I'd say. Kai is 15 and gets packed off to Mutazione to nurse her grandfather Nonno back to health. He's dying. He also has plans for her that he's in no rush to explain. Everyone else in town has mutated in one direction or another over the past 100 years, and they've all got plenty to say about each other. Awkward for Kai. Good for us. ... 🖥 Xbox, Steam Deck, PC, Mobile, Multi-platformLogitech’s handheld plans are on ice — don’t expect a G Cloud 2 soon
Logitech's new gaming boss, Robin Piispanen, tells me he likes the idea of gaming handhelds. "It's such a charming value proposition," he says, as we sip iced vanilla lattes at my local cafe. But he's not building one right now. He's not sure when or if Logitech should try again, after its underwhelming experiment with &8230;
🖥 PC, MobileForetales, the story-driven card game, is available for free this week on the Epic Games Store
The Epic Games Store has been on something of a roll recently. With the exception of Construction Simulator 3 (shudders), they've given away some great stuff for free, with TMNT: Shredder's Revenge and Princess Farmer being recent examples. And this week brings another tantalising prospect with Foretales, available for free until July 30th. First launched in 2025 on mobile, Foretales tells the story of a thief named Volepain who has visions of the end of the world. And that's no good for somebody who likes to pinch things. To keep the thievery dream alive, then, you'll have to put a stop to whatever forces threaten our anthropomorphic hero's very existence. ... 🖥 Xbox, PC, MobileWinter Burrow lets you rebuild a cosy mouse home one knitted jumper at a time
Big-city mice do not usually get much sympathy from me, but Winter Burrow has been chipping away at that since it launched on Steam, Switch and Xbox Game Pass. Now it is heading to iOS and Android too, and the sweater-knitting has apparently followed it there. You play a mouse returning home after years away, only to find the old family burrow half collapsed and the Aunt who was meant to be looking after it nowhere to be found. So instead of settling in for a peaceful retirement, you are out gathering resources, patching up the place room by room, and trying to work out what actually happened to her. ... 🖥 PC, MobileLangrisser: Sea of Sword lets you charge into battle with two heroes instead of one
Last week, Black Jack Studio and HongKong GameTree announced Langrisser: Sea of Sword, the next entry in the RPG series. Since then, the Steam page has gone live, and while that's no good for us mobile players wanting to pre-register, it is chock-full of details for what we can expect when Sea of Sword eventually arrives. The Steam description posits this will be an 'evolution' in the series, moving it on from its linear roots, promising much more freedom than ever before. To me, that screams open world, which is usually a reason for me to actually scream. However, the trailer gives me Octopath Traveler vibes, so I'm hoping we're talking about a small open world with numerous paths to explore rather than some Ubisoft-like checklist nightmare. ... 🖥 PC, MobilePhantom Tower mashes Vampire Survivors and Diablo together for lightning-paced hack 'n slash action
While we so often cover strategy, cosy building games and puzzles here on the website, there are plenty of great, action-packed options available on mobile. And one that's particularly caught our eye is the hack 'n slash roguelike Phantom Tower, out now for iOS and Android! As described in the headline, Phantom Tower looks to be an exciting mixture of Vampire Survivors and Diablo. Your objective is simple: reach the hundredth floor of the tower. In your way, however, are hordes of enemies you'll need to slash and dodge your way through. Dungeon crawls don't get more dangerous than this, it seems! ... 🖥 PC, MobileIf The Odyssey film is anything like The Odyssey adventure game from 2012, Matt Damon will spend the entire first hour trying to solve a single loom puzzle
I played it for two hours and 53 minutes, same as the running time of Christopher Nolan's new film. Here's how it went.
🖥 PC, MobilePhantom Tower is an upcoming hack-and-slash rougelike launching on iOS and Android soon
Four years Horien Studio has been building Phantom Tower and nobody's seen the top yet. Not even in trailers. That's a roguelike earning its premise, I suppose. Eight classes, each tied to their own elemental affinity and combat feel, and you're climbing a tower that gets progressively more hostile the further up you go. Plenty of adventurers have tried. None have made it. You probably won't either, at least not for a while. But you keep going back. ... MORE(https://www.pocketgamer.com/phantom-tower/steam-demo/)
🖥 PC, MobileOuterplane RPG goes full steam ahead as Major9 acquires the franchise from VAGames
There's really no question about the appeal of isekai stories, whether it's about becoming the Chosen One as the world's only hope or discovering a parallel universe after almost getting hit by a truck. It's a lovable cliche for a reason, and Outerplane knows that all too well - topping it all off with gorgeous 3D animations, thrilling side stories, and memorable characters. This time around, you can expect the turn-based RPG to take things even further as Major9 acquires the Outerplane IP from VAGames - you might even say the studios are diving into a real-world isekai story of their own! ... 🖥 PC, MobileTMNT: Shredder's Revenge is free on the Epic Games Store this week
There's always been a part of me that prefers villains in media. In Doctor Who, I'm a big fan of the Daleks, Darth Vader is infinitely cooler than Luke Skywalker, and the Joker is far more compelling than the overly stoic Batman. So when I first came across TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, I found myself thinking, “Ah, I hope it gets it.” And while there's practically no chance of me getting what I want there, I can at least find out for free thanks to the Epic Game Store. That's right, as part of Epic's ongoing program, you can grab the brawler for free until July 2nd. And while I agree it’s a little uncouth to quibble over the quality of something when the price is zero, it's certainly a better offering than last week's Construction Simulator 3. Not only did that confirm I have no business being within 100 yards of a building site, but it just wasn't that fun. ... 🖥 PC, MobileSteam Week in Review: More than 300 games released on Steam last week, and 120 of them had AI disclosures
All the interesting Steam facts for the week ending June 14.
