Fortnite's Hot Bat Summer is here with its spicy, lightly controversial skins that show, well, a lot of skin. Epic Games and DC's latest Fortnite crossover brings four new character outfits "inspired by DC Comics' annual swimsuit covers," a series of themed quest rewards, and new Batman-inspired gameplay additions.
As revealed earlier this week, Fortnite's Hot Bat Summer introduces some revealing new skins for a handful of Gotham City icons: Coastal Catwoman, High Tide Harley, Chlorophyll Ivy, and Beach Bod Batman continue a recent trend toward more salacious skins for Fortnite, which was once known for excessive modesty. Also new in Fortnite as part of the event, which launched Thursday, are a Bat Cave POI, the Batman Beach Buggy vehicle, and the Batman Grapnel Gun.
Epic's full reveal of Fortnite's Hot Bat Summer confirms that the skins shown earlier this week are final. Shortly after the outfits were revealed, fans believed that Epic had quickly censored the cosmetics to be less revealing. But Poison Ivy fans needn't worry; the supervillainess is here in all her Batman-distracting glory.

The summertime looks for these Gotham City icons are officially dropping into the Fortnite Shop on July 16 at 8 p.m. EDT, each with their own Lego version, Pickaxe, and Back Bling.
Hot Bat Summer offers a chance to earn new Batman Sprites by completing quests. In Battle Royale matches, the Batman Sprite lets you deploy a Bat Cape midair and increases the chance of finding rare sprites in chests, Epic says.

Other quest rewards include G’nort’s Summer Tote Back Bling, the Caped Cooler-sader Pickaxe, and the Zap-brella Glider. (G'nort is, of course, G'nort Esplanade G'neesmacher, the anthropomorphic dog member of the Green Lantern Corps who often serves as comic relief in DC Comics.)
Hot Bat Summer will get a boost on Saturday, with Shiny Hours during which all players will start with a Batman Grapnel Gun and Self-Revive Device; Batman Sprite and Beach Buggy spawns are increased; and Gold, Gummy, Galaxy, and Holofoil Sprite variants will appear more often. Those Shiny Hours run on July 18, from 2 p.m. EDT to 4 p.m. EDT and again at 9 p.m. EDT to 11 p.m. EDT.
