Rock Paper Shotgun ยป Guidesโœ Grace Deanโฑ 4 min read(3 months ago)

Overview & Key Takeaways

You've spent time learning how to get the Tadpole in Subnautica 2, making your journey around the deep sea a whole lot easier. But, with aggressive creatures attacking you and an abundance of unforgiving terrain, you'll find the Tadpole takes damage pretty easily. You've spent time learning how to get the Tadpole in Subnautica 2, making your journey around the deep sea a whole lot easier. But, with aggressive creatures attacking you and an abundance of unforgiving terrain, you'll find the Tadpole takes damage pretty easily. So, you'll need to get your hands on a Repair Tool to fix up your personal submarine quickly before it gets destroyed.

Much like unlocking the Habitat Builder, Rebreather and Sonic Resonator, you'll need to scan fragments of the Repair Tool using your Scanner to get the Blueprint first. Then, you can think about crafting it. Here's where to look and what you'll need.

1. Head to Chap's Base

About 200m to 250m southeast/south of your Lifepod, you'll find a ring-shaped cave near the stone spires. If you've activated your NOA, you may have Chap's black box signal for the base. But if you're not there yet, you can still find it. The cave entrance is illuminated by a blue light and you'll want to swim in and down to find a red hatch entrance to an abandoned base.

Inside the base, you'll see a desk right by the entrance that will have the Repair Tool resting on top of it. Use the orange dots on your Scanner to help guide you and remember, don't leave until you've scanned the Repair Tool fragment to unlock the first stage of the Blueprint. You can also interact with the Biobed while you're down there, if you want to expand your inventory a little.

2. Head to the Northern Ruins

Before you head to the Northern Ruins, you're going to need a Sonic Resonator. Both of the fragments for the Sonic Resonator can be found in the Old Habitat, located around 350m northwest/north of your Lifepod. Swim underneath the Old Habitat and through the hole in the floor. The first fragment will be on your right as you enter and the second will be found by travelling through to the next room and looking on the floor.

To craft the Sonic Resonator, you'll need 1x Battery, 2x Titanium Ingots, 2x Lead and 1x Wiring Kit. You'll also need a Fully Functional Fabricator and Processor for this. All three of these things are worth having to move forward in Subnautica 2, so you're not wasting time following these steps first.

Then, head to the Northern Ruins located 250m to 270m north of the Lifepod. You'll see a ruined base that will be blocked by Biofilm that you can blast with your Sonic Resonator. Inside, you'll see a Repair Tool fragment on the table. Scan it!

3. Head to the wreckage

Around 350m northeast of the Lifepod, you'll see a wreckage underwater. You can access it by swimming underneath and entering the hangar door. As you enter, it's a rather small room where you'll easily find the third and final Repair Tool fragment you need on the floor in the corner. Scan it and you've officially unlocked the Repair Tool Blueprint.

With the Blueprint unlocked, head to your Fabricator with 1x Titanium Ingot, 1x Sulfur, 1x Battery and 1x Wiring Kit to craft the Repair Tool. Then, you'll always have a way to fix your Tadpole whenever you need it. You'll need to carry around a spare Battery or two though as well, so you can reload the Repair Tool when it inevitably runs out.

Now, you'll be kitted out with a Repair Tool ready to fix up your Tadpole and other items. And be sure to check out our guides on how to increase your max oxygen and investigating the Tadpole Pens to aid your exploration in Subnautica 2 even further.

Onimusha: Way of the Sword - All bosses

!(https://assetsio.gnwcdn.com/rasho-gan.jpg?width=690&quality=85&format=jpg&auto=webp) Onimusha: Way of the Sword(https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/games/onimusha-the-way-of-the-sword) marks the triumphant return of Capcom's samurai action franchise after a twenty-year hiatus, with all of the hallmarks that it possessed back in the PlayStation 2 days, including fast action, Issen counterattacks, and plenty of screen-filling bosses. Miyamoto Musashi will need every ounce of his wits and skill to beat these contenders, many of whom are dangerously fierce and reminiscent of Soulslike opponents, even though Way of the Sword is more of a traditional hack 'n slash action adventure game. Way of the Sword offers two difficulty modes upon startup, including a Story Mode that will let you decimate most enemies in your path. But on Action Mode, none of these bosses are a walk in the park, and some will even be a challenge on Story Mode. To help Musashi rise supreme against all contenders, we've got you covered with our comprehensive list of all bosses in Onimusha: Way of the Sword, along with strategies for beating them. You need Power Stones to unlock most of Musashi's major skills. And yet for all their significance, Way of the Sword never tells you where or how to find them. There are two main ways of getting Power Stones. One is largely outside your control, as it happens naturally while you progress the story. The other takes a bit of tracking down, and careful exploration of each level outside of the central Kyoto hub. In this guide, we'll explain how to get Power Stones in Onimusha: Way of the Sword and what to look out for while you're searching for treasure.
