How to get the Copper Earring in Wizard Alchemy

Early into your mage tutelage in Wizard Alchemy, you'll meet an NPC named Lombart who will send you out in search of a magical item. He wants you to find a "Goblin Earring" and bring it back to him for a sizeable stash of coins, beginning the Goblin Accessory quest. While it may seem simple, this objective can be mighty confusing if you don't know where to look.

Luckily, I've gone out there and scrubbed the wilderness in search of lazy Lombat's jewellery, and I've come back to you to deliver the goods. So, if you want to complete the Goblin Accessory quest and bag yourself a very tidy sum of gold, here's what you need to know:

How to find the Copper Earring

To find the Copper Earring in Wizard Alchemy, you'll need to hunt down Archer Goblins on Departure Isle. They have a couple of spawns, with the easiest ones to find being in the beach area and on the hill that leads to the beach.

Once you've found some reliable spawns, you'll have to farm these gross-looking dudes until you get the Copper Earring to drop. There's a 13% chance of the earring spawning every single time they die, so you might have to fight your way through a good few of them before you get the drop to spawn.

Depending on how early in the game you are, that can be a bit of a pain. These guys are Veteran ranged enemies, meaning they deal high damage, have large health pools and, rather frustratingly, will keep backing away at range, meaning they can slip out of view. Through my testing, I found the easiest way to defeat them was to focus on dodging their attacks and making the fight more of a test of patience rather than a straight-up brawl.

Find an Archer Goblin, and begin picking away at them. When you see them raise their bow, a red light will flash, indicating that their attack can be dodged. When you see the flash, hit the Q button to dodge, then immediately go back to attacking. Don't worry about the direction you dodge, because the I-frames will keep you safe from punishment regardless. Depending on how much damage you deal, it's then just a case of waiting for the goblin to keel over, so continue casting and dodging until the battle ends. If the earring drops, great! If it doesn't, rinse and repeat on another Archer Goblin.

Once you have the earring, bring it back to Lombart. In exchange, he'll provide you exactly 666 coins, which has me suspicious. I mean, the fee is decent, but Lombart, my guy. What kind of non-shady, certainly-not-satanic vendor is out here offering me a bag of coins that exactly matches the number of the devil? Who was that goblin I killed, and why do I suddenly feel like I'm accepting blood money?

Oh well. Go and buy yourself a new cape or something and try to forget all of this ever happened...
