Overview & Key Takeaways

Help Shi Yugong catch Augur of Civo, Morayaga, Crookfish, Zakarati, Neme-Sanga, and Drakonbeard.

Completing The One That Got Away quest in Diablo 4 likely won't interest you if you're not a fan of fishing, but if you're curious what aquatic horrors (and junk) you can find in Sanctuary's watery depths, you might decide to help Shi Yugong in his collection quest.

Though the fishing itself is super straightforward, as you will have discovered in the previous Favor for a Favor quest, finding six specific fish across Sanctuary might seem overwhelming. Worry not, though, I've included details about where to find each below. Obviously, this guide will contain spoilers for this fishing quest. Otherwise, though, here's where to go.

You can find a yellow rarity fish in each of Sanctuary's regions (Image credit: Blizzard)

While Shi Yugong asks you to catch six yellow rarity fish across Sanctuary, the good news is that Diablo 4's fish are region-based, meaning you don't have to track down a specific body of waterโ€”any pond or pool will eventually net you the right one, provided you're in the right region, and you just keep fishing. For simplicity, though, here's where I went for each:

Rare FishLocation
Augur of CivoDry Steppes: I fished mine on the coast, northwest of Ken Bardu.
MorayagaFractured Peaks: I fished mine northwest of Kyovoshard on a bridge above a river.
CrookfishHawezar: I fished mine from a pier in Backwater.
ZakaratiKehjistan: I fished mine from a pond in the southwest of the Iron Wolves camp fast travel.
Neme-SengaNahantu: I fished mine from a pier in Kurast Docks.
DrakonbeardScosglen: I fished mine from a pier in the northwest.

Remember to consume the fish in your inventory to add them to your codex, same as you did for the Favor for a Favor quest earlier, otherwise they won't count and tick off in the quest progress. Now, head back to Shi Yugong to get some XP, gold, and to take on the next quest, The Fish of Dreams.
