The birthday cake is back as part of Fortnite's 9th birthday celebration in Chapter 7 Season 4, and you'll need to eat four slices to complete one of the Fortnite Celebration quests.
Each birthday cake will have four slices of cake on the floor, so you'll need to quickly eat all four if you want to complete the quest in one go. If not, you'll find another cake or queue up for another game.

Where to eat slices of cake in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4
To eat a slice of cake, you must first find a huge chocolate cake at a named location in either Fortnite Battle Royale or Fortnite OG. There will be a few slices of cake on the ground that you can pick up and eat. However, if other people eat them first, you might be out of luck. Make sure to drop at a cake if you want to complete the quest as fast as possible.
When you're looking for a birthday cake, keep an eye out foryour typical party balloons. The balloons will always point you toward a cake, whether they're outside a building or resting right beside it.

We've found eight birthday cakes in Fortnite Battle Royale, so far. However, keep in mind that birthday cakes in Battle Royale might not spawn. Instead, you might have to play Fortnite OG to complete the quest, as it's not bugged in OG. We'll update this guide once it's been fixed.
We've listed all the birthday cake locations that we've found in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4, so far, below:
- On the wooden patio of the largest lodge in Lifty Lodge
- Inside a building that is currently under construction, beside the Epic Mega Arcade southeast of Pac-Man Island
- Beside the music stage in Wonkeeland
- On a grassy platform in the northwest corner of Green Hill Zone
- Inside the red Epic Mega Arcade barn northwest of Stone Sanctum
- Inside the Pixel Polys building, which is east of Stone Sanctum
- On the small island east of Heatwave Harbor, which has one lone building on it.
- Found in the southeast corner of Cluster Coast

The best way to eat slices of cake in Fortnite OG is to land at the center of Junk Junction or Pleasant Park, and eat as many as you can. If you didn't get all four, you can quickly run over to the POI that you did not land at, and look for more cake.
