Genshin Impact will go down for maintenance on Tuesday, Sept. 22 or Wednesday, Sept. 23 (depending on your time zone) at the following times and will be unavailable for approximately five hours:
- 3 p.m. PDT on Tuesday, Sept. 22 for the west coast of North America
- 6 p.m. EDT on Tuesday, Sept. 22 for the east coast of North America
- 7 p.m. BRT on Tuesday, Sept. 22 for Brazil
- 11 p.m. BST on Tuesday, Sept. 22 for the U.K.
- 12 a.m. CEST on Wednesday, Sept. 22 for western Europe

What’s new in Genshin Impact version 7.1?
This patch continues the story in Snezhnaya while also adding two new playable characters. Vesna is an Anemo sword-user and Vodyanitsa is a Hydro catalyst-user. This will also serve as the Sixth Anniversary patch, and players will be able to log in and claim two five-star characters for free (one from the standard banner and one from a list of specific limited characters), as well as other fun rewards.
