Nintendo released update v23.0.0 for the Switch 2 on Sep. 10, a day after the highly anticipated Nintendo Direct. The update was unexpected, as none of its features had been mentioned during the official presentation the day before. While looking through the patch notes and exploring the changes made to the system, many were pleasantly surprised to discover that they now had the option to enable music in the Mii creation menu, and the available tunes were quite familiar.
The three music tracks added to the Mii creation menu on Switch 2 featured the Mii Maker songs from the Wii, 3DS, and Wii U, taking players on a nostalgia trip regardless of their favorite system. Even though it's a minor addition, it made fans quite happy, and many are now hopeful that eShop music will also return at some point.
