Wizards of the Coast has released Exodus, a new sci-fi tabletop RPG set in the same universe as the upcoming AAA video game from Archetype Entertainment. The Traveler’s Handbook and Exodus Encyclopedia are now available for purchase through the official Exodus webpage.

Designed by James Ohlen—the veteran RPG designer behind Baldur’s Gate 2, Dragon Age: Origins, and Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic—the game adapts the 5E system for sci-fi play, with new classes, weapons, and factions. The Traveler’s Handbook introduces eight origins, four classes with two subclasses each, and six powerful Traveler Dynasties that serve as in-game factions. The Exodus Encyclopedia packs in stat blocks for constructs, Celestials, changelings, awakened beings, and human NPCs, along with Remnant items for research and combat.

Both books are full-color hardcovers with Smythe sewn binding and spot UV finishing. The project also features contributions from award-winning sci-fi authors Adrian Tchaikovsky and Peter F. Hamilton.
The Exodus video game is slated for release in 2026 on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
