The September Nintendo Direct included 45 minutes of non-stop reveals and announcements. Before closing the curtains, Nintendo exec Yoshiaki Koizumi prepared fans for the typical "one-more-thing" announcement, revealing that Kirby will soon embark on a new adventure with the release of Kirby and the World Beyond next year.
Kirby and the Forgotten Land was released in 2022, and fans have been itching for a new Kirby 3D adventure since — especially after last year's intense racing game Kirby Air Riders. They can soon get back into it with the launch of Kirby and the World Beyond. This appears to be the adorable pink ball's biggest open-world adventure yet. As shown in the trailer, Kirby smashes through a crack in the sky to uncover a huge world beyond his own.
