Adult Link sits atop his horse Epona while wielding the Master Sword and the Hylian Shield. What other The Legend of Zelda Lego sets has Nintendo released?
Nintendo and Lego have had a fruitful partnership in recent years. Earlier this year, they released Ocarina of Time - The Final Battle, a 1,003-piece set that features Link and Zelda dueling with Ganon in a recreation of Ocarina of Time's iconic ultimate boss fight. That one went for a hefty $129.99. Before that, there was the even pricier Deku Tree set, a roughly $300, 2,500-piece mega build that has since been retired after selling out. It seems fair to assume that the Link & Epona set will be cheaper than its predecessors, as it looks a bit smaller in scale.
Why is Nintendo releasing an Ocarina of Time-themed set now?
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is getting the remake treatment. Nintendo showed the first major gameplay of its upcoming title during today's Zelda Anniversary Direct. The game features a far more realistic, though still stylized, aesthetic, along with a long list of gameplay adjustments. Near the end of the trailer, child Link plays Epona's Song on his Ocarina to call over his trusty steed.
The remake is set to release on Nov. 5, 2026. It is probably fair to assume that the Lego set will be released around the same time.
