ReedPop and Penny Arcade are expanding the PAX family with a new tabletop-focused event: PAX Unplugged Houston.
The show lands at the George R. Brown Convention Center from June 25–27, 2027, making it the second Unplugged event alongside the long-running Philly show. Expect the usual PAX goodness: a massive expo floor packed with major board and card game exhibitors, industry panels, tournaments, creator meetups, and all the community chaos you’d hope for.
“Whenever we get done with PAX Unplugged out in Philly, I just want to rewind time and do it all again,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder of PAX, Penny Arcade and Child’s Play Charity. “This is the next best thing. And it’ll be great to see our old friends from down that way.”
Badges go on sale later this year, with media and content creator applications opening before 2026 wraps up. More details to come.
