Kingdom Hearts is expected to join the roster of collaborations in Fortnite this month, according to a recent leak.

Fortnite has achieved incredible feats with its collaborations and crossover events. Epic Games managed to do the impossible by creating a game that features franchises from rival companies. This allows characters that would never have appeared together in the same game to team up for a match or find each other on the Battle Royale island for an epic fight.

Video game characters from dozens of franchises have made their way to Fortnite, and Epic Games has no intention of putting a stop to it. According to a recent leak, one of the most-requested franchises will soon make its way to Fortnite: Kingdom Hearts, the beloved RPG series by Square Enix and Disney.

According to leaks and rumors, it is believed that the next season of Fortnite will be video game-themed. When the final update of Chapter 7 Season 3 went live, data miners dug into the game files and uncovered a set of mysterious posters with some interesting images. The posters seemed to depict several video game franchises, namely retro titles such as Mega Man, Pac-Man, Tetris, and Sonic. On top of this, the posters were found in the same file as assets for the upcoming season finale event. This led fans to conclude that Chapter 7 Season 4's theme would be "Gaming Legends."

Besides the retro games featured in the posters, players believe that other video games will join Fortnite for a Gaming Legends season, namely Persona and Kingdom Hearts. It seems that the introduction of Kingdom Hearts to Fortnite might happen sooner than expected, as leakers were recently able to uncover themed cosmetics in the Rocket League game files. Since Rocket League and Fortnite are linked as Epic Games IPs, players will automatically receive vehicle cosmetics in both games.

The Octane decal shown in the leaks appears to be inspired by Sora's outfit from the original Kingdom Hearts. The game launched in 2002, so it is considered a retro game by many. Therefore, it would be aligned with next season's expected theme.

Wardogs Has A Massive Start On Steam, But Players Face Brutal Server Queues

A big new military FPS, Wardogs (not to be confused with the 2016 Jonah Hill/Miles Teller crime-comedy War Dogs) launched today in early access(https://store.steampowered.com/app/1867240/WARDOGS/) on Steam, and it's off to a hot start. The shooter reached 300,000 peak concurrent users on Steam(https://store.steampowered.com/charts/mostplayed) right out of the gate and the $40 game is currently Steam's No. 1 best-seller. Pretty impressive for a game that the developer told you not to buy(https://www.gamespot.com/articles/shooter-climbing-steam-charts-lists-10-reasons-not-to-buy-it/). Given the flood of players, developer Bulkhead instituted a server queue system, and this quickly became something of a meme on social media. Players shared screenshots of the queue and their place in it--some people reported having more than 300,000 people in line in front of them(https://x.com/ModernWarzone/status/2098098285244207270).
