How to save your game in Beast of Reincarnation

There are two types of saves in Beast of Reincarnation:

  • Auto Saves: These seemingly occur during major moments, such as entering a new zone or after certain flashback sequences. It is not immediately clear when the game is autosaving, and you should not rely on Auto Saves to maintain your progress. You can start from the position of your last Auto Save by selecting Continue on the Title Menu.
  • Manual Saves: These are Saves that you've manually made either at a Camp or in Bauera the Cleanse Walker. You can access your Manual Saves by selecting Load Game on the Title Menu.

To make a Manual Save, find a Camp out in the world. These are the shrines and small fires where Emma can upgrade her skills, rest, enhance her weapons, and so on, and you'll find many of them scattered throughout Beast of Reincarnation's various zones. Select Save Game when you're at one of these spots.

You can also make a Manual Save when you're in Bauera the Cleanse Walker, the large moving base that Emma returns to throughout the game. If you haven't unlocked Bauera yet, you're still in the beginning, so keep playing past Beast of Reincarnation's first hour or so. Once inside Bauera, you can make a Manual Save by navigating over to the Attribute Portal, the glowing interface near the Workbench. Then, select Save Game.

It's worth stressing again that making Manual Saves is the way to go. Auto Saves basically only exist to ensure that you won't lose everything if your game suddenly crashes without warning after several hours of playtime.

Typically you'll return to the Cleanse Walker at the end of a mission or a boss fight to rest, craft, and recover. Might as well save while you're at it! | Image credit: Rock Paper Shotgun/Game Freak

And now you know how to save your game in Beast of Reincarnation. It's pretty easy, but it's always worth knowing how to save, especially in a tough game full of parrying action like Beast of Reincarnation. We've also got another quick guide on how to change languages in Beast of Reincarnation if you were unaware, as well as how to get the Red Key and the best skills to unlock first.

!(https://assetsio.gnwcdn.com/mortal-shell-2-standing-in-desolate-keep.jpg?width=690&quality=85&format=jpg&auto=webp) The Desolate Keep, hidden away behind an illusory wall in the Marrow Keep, is one of the most intriguing dungeons it's possible to find in Mortal Shell 2(https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/games/mortal-shell-2). It may not be the longest dungeon in the game, but it's likely the most layered, with multiple secret passages, and more than a few nods to one of the oldest and most iconic levels in gaming. It's also far more challenging than most areas you can find in Fainweald, which is why we've left it until now to tackle. But now, it's time. Below I'll walk you through exactly how to 100% the Desolate Keep, revealing every secret with easy to follow, step-by-step instructions. !(https://assetsio.gnwcdn.com/mortal-shell-2-lost-child-close-up.jpg?width=690&quality=85&format=jpg&auto=webp) The Sanguine Caverns can be found at the very northmost point of the Mortal Shell 2(https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/games/mortal-shell-2) map, and contains the game's third major boss: the frightful Lost Child. With everything else in Fainweald now conquered, it's time for us to journey to these far north reaches and cleanse the land of its last scant bits of corruption. Below, I've put together an easy to follow step-by-step guide to the entire region of the Sanguine Caverns, including every dungeon, every foe and boss encounter, and every tucked away valuable item - of which there are several in this area of Fainweald! The Blood of Dawnwalker: All endings explained

!(https://assetsio.gnwcdn.com/TBODCoenEnding.jpg?width=690&quality=85&format=jpg&auto=webp) The Blood of Dawnwalker(https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/games/the-blood-of-dawnwalker) has one main goal for Coen – to save his family. You spend 30 days (and nights) figuring out your best defence against Brencis, levelling up skills, collecting armour and teaming up with allies. But it turns out defeating him isn't the only way to get everyone home safe. In fact, sometimes defeating him might still lead to the demise of your nearest and dearest. I played through the game's four full story endings to see what would happen and, unfortunately, it's bad news for Lunka at almost every turn. There's also three additional early endings you can try on for size, which we'll cover at the end. In this guide I'll fully explain how to get all endings in The Blood of Dawnwalker, and what can happen to your family along the way in each case.
